Noble Families
From the gold-rich Goldhelms to the ancient Ipadora—bloodlines are the truest currency of power in Eldunary.
Darkmane Family
Once unified the dark elf realm under their rule. The treachery of Vaelith the Hollow — who sold his own brother Thalrith to a Goldhelm scientist in 937 ACC — fractured the family and triggered the collapse of the Darkmane Realm into warring tribes. Notable figures: Vaelith the Hollow (former head, 896–938 ACC) and Sael (warrior leader, granddaughter of Vaelith, seeks to reunify the Darkmane realm).
Goldhelm Family
The royal and only family of the Goldhelm race. All Goldhelms descend from this line. King Aldric is head and ruler. Princess Seraphina is the heir.
House Abyrath
A cadet branch of House Nereval (the Ipadora royal family), established in 996 ACC when Queen Nayele appointed her younger brother Prince Vaelen to govern Glaril. Operates under Ipadora's broader political umbrella but governs Glaril with significant autonomy. The relationship between Abyrath and the main Nereval line is cooperative rather than subordinate in practice.
Ipadora Family
Formally known as House Nereval — the ruling family of the Ipadora Kingdom. The throne passes through the female line. Queen Nayele is current head. A cadet branch — House Abyrath — governs Glaril under Prince Vaelen, Nayele's younger brother.
