Languages of Eldunary
From the continental tongue spoken by every race to the dying whispers of a near-extinct hive β the languages of Criozevan, ranked by reach.
Spoken as a first or second language across the entire continent.
Common
The continental trade and diplomatic language. Spoken as first or second language by every race. The default language of government, commerce, and inter-faction communication.
Sylvaren
The Ipadora language. Fluid-script and voicewave dialect. Spoken throughout the Ipadora Kingdom.
Each bound to a race or realm. Widely spoken within their homeland; rare beyond it.
Shayathi
The Iyhago Kingdom language. Harmonic Script encodes tonal resonance β written text has acoustic properties. Used in magical ritual contexts. Veles prefers KΕtoba but Shayathi is the kingdom's official language.
Tharnic
The Oredsy Republic language. Selvarin's native tongue.
Nualthyr
The Darkmane Elf language. Clan-dialects with tonal variance. Spoken secretly among elves who do not wish to be understood.
Solaran
The Goldhelm technical language. Circuit Script is modular and assembly-based β ideal for engineering documentation.
Karthrun
The Golem language. Inscribed in chiseled glyph-code.
Functional rather than native. Spoken in specific trades, environments, or subcultures.
Sailor Speak
Maritime creole spoken natively in Wrofast and understood functionally by experienced sea traders from Glaril, Neruvalis, and Ipadora Sanctuary. Parent languages are Common and Sylvaren. Belongs fully to neither. No written form. Trust currency among sailors.
Ka'torr
The Sharkai language. Guttural, gesture-based, and used underwater. Rabuka speaks it natively.
Spoken by only a handful β or one. These languages are disappearing.
Pyrrhith
Spoken language of Zhuiburn β spoken by no other community and voluntarily taught to no outsider. Origins unknown. No structural ancestry with Common, Sylvaren, Tharnic, or any documented language in Criozevan. Built almost entirely from fricatives and plosives. Minimal vowels. Written form exists but is not shared.
KΕtoba
A refined form of Shayathi used only by the Resonant Guard. High-prestige in Iyhago; uncommon everywhere else. Unauthorized use is forbidden and spiritually dangerous.
Tharnexi
The Tharnex hive language. Now spoken only by Vorryn, the last Tharnex. Written in spiral claw-glyphs etched into carapace plates.
