Founding of the Kingdom of Iyhago

After the Great War, the people of the Vehalo Territories voted Veles to leadership.

When the Great War ended with the Equinox of Power, the people of the Vehalo Territories voted Veles to leadership in recognition of his role in the conflict. He had been establishing the Kingdom of Iyhago since 800 ACC, and expanded its territory to its current borders over the following decades. The kingdom was fully formed in 835 ACC.

Before Veles took power, the territory was known as the Vehalo Territories, named after the island of Vehalo, on which the city of Iyhago was located. They were not a kingdom or a formal state. They operated as a loose semi-autonomous region with no centralized government and no territorial ambitions, known primarily as a port of spiritual significance and a minor trade point.

When the war ended and Veles returned home, the people voted him to leadership. He renamed the settlement Iyhago Prime and began establishing the Kingdom of Iyhago.

The Kingdom Fully Formed
